Chris founded Appoint Realty to represent buyers and sellers, and landlords and tenants, in sales and leasing of commercial and residential properties. His real estate brokerage experience has been predominantly commercial in nature, with transactional and advisory experience across a variety of real estate property types.
Chris's market knowledge, financial expertise, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail all serve his clients well in terms of pricing, negotiation, and transaction execution.
Chris entered the real estate industry in 2008 by way of leading a multi-generational single-family office at a privately-held real estate investment, development, and management company. Prior to that, he had worked primarily in business valuation, corporate finance, and M&A advisory, with over a decade advising owners, executives, and boards of privately held and publicly traded companies on complex matters pertaining to their debt, mezzanine, and equity securities, and testifying as an expert witness.
A native Texan and longtime Houstonian, Chris graduated from Memorial High School in Houston and completed his Bachelor of Science from Trinity University and his MBA and MPA from The University of Texas at Austin.
Chris's real estate credentials include Licensed Real Estate Broker in Texas; Registered Property Tax Arbitrator in Texas; Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM); and Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI). His financial credentials include Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Texas (note: Appoint Realty, LLC is Not a CPA Firm). As an additional service to his clients, Chris is also a Certified sUAS Remote Pilot licensed to commercially operate drones under FAA Part 107.

Seller's Comment
Chris handled the sale of a large residential/commercial property for us. Because of his commercial license he was able to list the property on both commercial and residential websites, which gave the property much greater visibility. We ended up with multiple offers, but for less than the asking price. Chris was able to get the two most interested parties to negotiate up to near full asking price, and ultimately getting FULL price for the property. He kept us updated regularly, and he immediatley caught a very important typo in the closing documents that would have cost us $10,000. To say he is knowledgeable in real estate is understatement. I wholeheartedly recommend him if you are planning on selling or buying any residential/commercial property.
